Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files placed on a browser or device when a website is visited. Similar technologies can store or read identifiers, preferences, or technical information. Cookies may last only for the browser session or remain for a defined period.

First-party cookies are set by Salzburg Taxi. Third-party cookies are set by an external service whose content is loaded on the website.

On your first visit, the cookie banner offers three equal choices:

• Accept all: permits the optional functional services currently available.
• Reject optional: keeps third-party booking and map embeds blocked.
• Customize: lets you review and select the available category.

Only the essential consent cookie is stored before you choose. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from browsing the website, calling, emailing, or using ordinary links. A blocked third-party service can be enabled later with its “Allow functional cookies” button.

Third-party cookie names and durations can change when their providers update their services. The external services remain blocked until functional consent is given.

Essential cookies support security, core operation, or a privacy choice requested by the visitor. They do not require consent where they are strictly necessary, but we still explain them transparently.

The current website sets one essential first-party cookie, salzburg_taxi_cookie_consent. It prevents the consent banner from reappearing on every page and allows us to respect your choice for up to 180 days. It does not contain your name, email address, or booking information.

Functional services provide enhanced website features but are not required to read the site. With your permission:

• the booking widget connects to book.cabsalzburg.eu so you can calculate a quote and arrange a transfer;
• Google Maps connects to Google to display an interactive location map.

Loading either service can disclose your IP address, browser information, referring page, and interaction data to its provider. The provider may use cookies or similar storage under its own policy. Permitting functional services enables both current functional integrations.

Salzburg Taxi does not currently load analytics, advertising, remarketing, social-media pixel, or cross-site tracking cookies on this website.

If these technologies are added later, they will remain disabled until valid consent is obtained. This policy and the consent controls will be updated with the provider, purpose, duration, and category before activation.

The optional services are supplied independently. Their privacy and cookie practices are described by their own policies:

• Google Privacy Policy and Google cookie information;
• the booking provider's notices displayed within or linked from the booking service at book.cabsalzburg.eu.

Salzburg Taxi controls whether these embeds load on our pages, but does not control the third party's cookie names or internal retention periods.

You can change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent prevents optional embeds from loading on future page views; it does not make earlier processing unlawful.

You can also delete the consent cookie in your browser. The banner will appear again on your next visit.

Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies for individual sites. Blocking all cookies may remove your saved privacy choice and can affect third-party booking or map features. Consult your browser's privacy or site-data settings for instructions.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals do not have a single legally or technically standardised response. We instead use the explicit consent controls described above and do not currently deploy analytics or advertising trackers.

We review this inventory when website services change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Material changes to optional technologies may cause the banner to request consent again.
